Hi Silverfox,

I think it was the way that she worded the question and lenght of time the question would have taken to answer, and the fact that it was right at the last couple of minutes of my time.

She asked: "I am an atheist, but am thinking of taking up wicca. Would you say I was wrong?"

In the light of the things that I had said, the only straight answer that I could possibly have given was "Yes" and went on to explain how part of the presentation looked at why Christians believed Wicca to be wrong. I also mentioned some things about web sites examing atheism and the pointers for the existence of God. I really don't think I did justice to the question though and wish I had given her more. I may email the girl from the Christian uni. who invited me along in fact and ask her to pass something I will write for her.

Even though I made it clear (to the group in general) that Christians and pagans disagree on much, I was careful to point out that there is a lot of misunderstanding and misrepresentation between both camps, and that even though we can disagree, we should be able to represent each other accurately, live harmoniously and resepct each other.
