Subject: Welcome To My Dreams

Come sail within my slumbering mind;
From happiness to pure horror is what I see,
Sometimes what is in between can make me run,
Yet many times I just cannot seem to get away.

Falling with me holding your hand I don't know you,
Your face so beautiful and still I can't make it out.
Just as quickly you are gone and I am in a new place,
Was inside a building and now finding myself in a field.

It's as if my brain is allowed to wander unleashed,
Why does it talk to itself and envision unearthly things?
I invited you in and I need to ask now are you still here?
So lonely this almost death sleep can truly be at times.

Have tried taking friends with me but they always disappear;
Slowly climbing same damn wall again and falling slower,
Then suddenly there you are again as if from nowhere.
And this time I recognize you so why does it scare me?

These uncontrolled thoughts are like a wild rampaging dog,
A freak film with a director that simply has no control.
Like you cut the film in to pieces and taped them together,
Into random useless connections that truly make no sense.
