Subject: How Lucky We Are

This once time life all of us having been granted,
Might be only mortality yet what did we have before that.
Things experienced that aborted ones will never ever know,
My God thank you for some things they shall never suffer.

Still that temporary pain is exceeded by mere existence,
These gifts of miraculous body and brain topping everything.
Without them no need to even ponder a right or wrong,
No chance to ever know that best unopened present of love.

Many of us have knelt before you and many spat in your face,
Yet it has not changed what you've created for our better,
Or for worse depending on which time pole one leans against,
They both will stand there until eternity takes them away.

Forever meaning heaven and heaven meaning forever vacation,
A final trip one needs not necessarily to have to plan for.
No tickets or excess baggage will also not be accepted,
A reality each and every last breath taken shall truly meet.
