Subject: Just Tried To Love

What better sense could I pass on if not it?
To do otherwise would be to hate my next breath.
I've rolled in love till I was just plain silly,
What a wonderful feeling I may never feel again.

Having believed in nothing and then everything,
Traveling from pure emptiness to golden chalice full.
Lost in darkness then star light filling my eyes,
Having never dreamed then awaking in slumbered paradise.

To have lain even for a moment next to a mortal heaven,
I was touched by an angel first morning you touched my brow.
Consumed by a fire which never ever brought me any pain,
To have known just one day enough yet I was given many.

This glory I've known will surely come again to me and all,
All who dare to wish for what they've wanted and don't have.
For it is that promise made long ago to every mortal human,
This love will surely conquer each who cares to embrace it.
