Pieces Of Me

Pieces of me
scattered
on the floor.

As I looked,
I found one piece
still in its perfect shape.

I picked it up,
looked closely
as its two corners lifted.

So perfect,
so beautiful.
It was my own smile.

I shall gather
these pieces of me
from this floor.

Sew them together
to form something nice -
a quilt.

It shall be soft,
comfortable,
and colourful.

Of course
�The Smile�
It shall be in there too.

You are welcome
to join me by that time
to smile.
