I'm sick and tired of hearing this. Did they know that airplanes may be used as weapons? Yes. Did they know that airplanes would be used as weapons in New York City on that day? No. Even if they knew much much more than they did, what could they have done - they are still struggling to properly restructure the communications channels needed to prevent a future such incident.
This is classic liberal bullshit here's a couple shining examples of why Liberals are morons:

I don't know if the libs are aware, but hijackings have been a concern for decades. "An agent in the Arizona field office commented in his case notes that Zacarias Moussaoui, arrested in August after suspicious activity at one of these flight schools, seemed like a man capable of flying airplanes into the World Trade Center. " - He never said this before the fact. He did say that the man seemed capable of an attack, but not the World Trade Center. Just a little misinformation from your liberal asshat friends there, Ray. Where do you find this drivel?
This type of nonsense is exactly why I can't stand to argue with liberals. If you believe this hype then you are a moron, and you are not worthy of any respect or consideration. End of story. Apparently nobody ever heard the saying "hindsight is 20/20" - well certainly if you look backwards and see the abundance of information out there you can say there may have been an inkling that something was going to happen. But you had no idea looking forward - even now if we knew that there were terrorist cells in the U.S., that they planned on using lpanes as weapons in the same fashion and EVEN if we had an accurate time table of approximately when this may happen we would still be helpless. Thousands of planes a day - hundreds of thousands of people, and if they want to get it done they will. Best case scenario if that happens is that they shoot the planes down and the terrorists only succeed at killing hundreds of Americans. Yippee.
Liberals will take this idiotic mindset and drive America into hell with it. They refuse to look forward and do what has to be done. In the rare circumstance thaty they do the right thing (75 senators voted for the war in Iraq), they turn around and argue against it later on.
Ray, you are not this stupid. You pretend to be, but I've talked with you for hours on end some nights about this shit and you are not a moron. IT may make you feel better to listen to this hippy-bullshit propaganda, but it is just that - propaganda - and there will come a time when you need to start acting your age and stop listening to the lies. Just research the issues yourself and you will find that the liberal lie is overwhelmingly appalling.
