I think that the most important issue is going to be Gays getting married. What the hell would they want to do that for? Why is divorce so expensive? Because it's worth it!!!

I personally think this will be important. Seeing if we can stick to our outdated sensibilities in modern society will be entertaining. I say... Gay? No way - not gonna be allowed to get married, wouldn't be prudent at this juncture. Not gonna do it.

Now about VOIP... hey, we all know that you can't get something for free. So all these high rolling conglomerates that are trying to communicate with each other and their customers for little or no cost are cheating the system. Uncle Sam isn't getting his fair share of lunch money from the big communications companies. That's ok, Uncle Sam will figure out a way to to subsidize the monies he seems to be losing.

As far as the media giants go.. well that is just the way it goes. They learned from Microsoft and have become real tough and bent on total world domination. It's the American way.

The single most important thing to come is our role in Space exploration. The leader in this field will reap the wealth of technologies produced by all the finest minds in the world. Space is sensational, space is inspirational, and space is where we are going, folks. Hopefully Americans begin to realize this before its too late and another country gets 25 years ahead of us in technology.

Aside from this, there is the singularity which is looming on the horizon. Will the government be able to stop it? Or slow it down? I don't think so. And I think there will be a lot of politicians scrambling to save us all the robot race. Hell with stem cells.

The list goes on and on... Enjoy this rare example of me just rambling.
