Just got a few minutes, but there were a few things I wanted to say, so here goes.

Rumsfeld is an ass. I think can all acknowledge this, but unfortunately we all should also acknowledge that he's pretty good at his job. Maybe rather than calling for Rumsfeld's head we should call for Rumsfeld to get a congressional communications attache (he could use an intern, I'm sure there would be no shortage of volunteers!). So far as I can see - and the details in the news are not revealing enough to know much for sure - the proper investigations were being made into the situation. The real problem lies in the fact that Rummie neglected to tell anyone outside the Pentagon about it.

Besides, you've got a bunch of Marines looking over a bunch of Iraqi prisoners with lax supervision . . . what did we expect????? Personally, I'll bet the worst stuff is still under the table, and we will hear about more seriosu abuses, and more homocides before this is through.

Still see America as the Great Nation? Sadly, so do I.

I was going to say something or other about pop culture sucking as badly as Rumsfeld. Nevermind.

So it's spring here in Pittsburgh. Amazing. Gorgeous. Unbelievable. I'm leaving the house now. BYE!
