As far as this being a war to benefit the President and his cronies, you aren't too far from the truth. We are there because of you, you half-SUV, half-pickup truck, big off-road tires driving fool!

The American people demand that we have cheap gasoline, inexpensive foreign goods, and maintain a standard of living unattanable in most of the free world.

That the government is out there fulfilling those demands ought not suprise us.

This situation will not be solved from the top-down, but rather it will be changed when the mindset of American changes and we decide that top-dog status is not worth thousands of dead foreigners.

When you buy a responsible vehicle, stop buying items manufactured in sweatshops, start using public transportation, start supporting independent political candidates who haven't traded in their ideals for a nomination, and whatever else you can to stand up for what you think is right, then and only then can you criticize the actions of the government because otherwise the government is just doing what you demand of it!
