The sad sad sad and most pervasive of all the lines of stupidity coming from the right wingnuts and their meat puppet, Shrub, is that he does not cut taxes for the rich. All one has to do is look at his tax cuts and it is clear that he cut taxes for the rich. I am getting tired of repeating myself on here, particularly when we have another meat puppet, like Rob, who0 just jumps to the economy whenever taxes are brought up. One more time for all the Morons (Conservatives) on this board, Shrub INCREASED TAX BRACKETS and CREATED A NEW ONE. People who make less than 115 K a year still end up paying about 12 percent. He INCREASED each tax bracket above the new one (0-12K) by $10K. This gave higher income people a lower rate. The PRACTICAL thing that he did was reduce witholdings. This benefit helps working class people the most, but is negligible to those with higher incomes. All it takes is a few keystrokes on Google to find out the truth about Shrub. He has a long record of cutting corporate taxes and pushing for VAT, which is quite directly cutting taxes on the rich and sticking it to poor, and drives up inflation. Just look at the cost of a gallon of milk. I often wonder when the right will ever offer a well formed response to this simple fact; Shrub is all about the rich people and sticking it to the poor.
