Well, unfortunately we are all slaves to our own humanity. I wrote a song about it once - it was supposed to sound all hollow and forebodingly sad . . . instead it sounded like crap (perhaps I should learn to play my intruments and sing!)

Anyway - that's beside the point. The point is we are all animals - a social animal by breeding, and a competitive one as well. There is very little we could have or should have done to avoid the current and unfortunate state of humanity. To worry too much about it will only give you headaches and an affinity for gin.

Or is it gin that gives you the headaches? Or the headaches that drive you to gin which makes your head swim so you start meandering on about politics . . . ? Hmmm.

Anyway. A book reccomendation for you based on your last post: "Non Zero, The Logic Of Human Destiny" I would look up the author if I was more motivated, but I'm not. Great book. The hardcover edition ahs a cool cover too! It details the evolution of human society and discusses zero sum game theory in depth as well.

What is "The Prisoner"?

Gonna go sing at the cat now . . . my only fan!
