My bad!! ANd I really do agree with much of what you said, especially POV.

I did say "right rails; left whines," but I truly was going for word sounds rather than meaning or commentary. I had not intended the reader to put as much thot as you did into the distinquishing between the meanings of "rails" and "whines."

Words are, after all, all that we have for expressing thoughts. One should be as precise in the choice of word as one is in the choice of label or thought. Thanks!

However, it is one thing to say corporations exist for more than profit making -- quite another to delineate the reasons -- tax purposes, risk avoidance, shield from personal liability, continuity after death of a principal, etc. Could you put some examples to your theory?

POV and objectivity -- recognizing that I do not have all the facts on any given debate, I start with the premise that anyone who agrees with me is as myopic as I am and proceed accordingly. The greatest gift someone can give a thinker (this pseudo-wannabe-thinker, at least) is pointing out flaws in a hypothesis.

May the debate continue!!
