"Give me a fulcrum long enough and I will move the earth."
Allow me to isolate the variables in the global economic balance, and I may develop an opinion that can be supported as to who is responsible for what boom or bust (or anything else, for that matter).
Sociologist vs. economist -- and school vz. school - etc. vz etc.
We are all the product of how we were trained -- we either embrace or rebel from what "they" told us -- whoever "they" are and whatever "they" believe.
Until we deconstruct our own beliefs, they are not ours. Even after reconstruction, how do we know why we believe what we believe? What makes the chemicals in our brains espouse one idea and reject another? If we all have the same or similar brain chemicals, why do we reach divergent conclusions based upon the same or similar stimuli?
(Rob -- go put some clothes on, boy!)
