sound the trumpets!!

so, do you want to explain to me how your govt manages to insert itself into the sale of an illegal drug (xtc)?

>And you don't count poverty in income per head, dude,
>you count poverty in "number of people under the
>poverty line"...At least, I would.

no kidding?
unfortunately, that site didn't list that stat for the euros --- just us, so I had to improvise.
being the socialist welfare state that you are, I took a look at total, or average, wealth to see how the 3 euros stacked up in their ability to care for their populace.
if your average per cap gdp was $3k, like 3rd world egypt, then you'd obviously have a poverty issue that your country couldn't address.
but, while $26k wouldn't shine our shoes, it's fairly rich by global standards.
it's also almost exactly the same as france and germany.
if you think dutch/german/french in any way resembles n korea/japan/china, I'd say weed must be legal in your country.

as for our poverty, a couple of people have already beat me to it.
I think our poverty line is around $10k/year(??), which is pretty goddamn well off by global standards.
you could do a lot worse than be poor in the richest country in the world.
that's also probably not counting govt subsidized housing, govt subsidized education, govt subsidized cheese, etc.
if it's not good enough for you, or those slackass poor people, then they're the ones who need to do something about it.
I'm already doing my part to reduce poverty by keeping myself above the poverty line.

once again, the only SIGNIFICANT differences are the ones found right here.
I don't consider speaking french, eating snails, and surrendering quickl...better scratch that last one....to be significant differences when talking about a country's economy.

ps

yeehaw!
