Last I heard, the U.S. wanted a seperate Palestinian state and Isreal thought our idea was way to nice for the Palestinians.

However, instead of stopping the suicide bombings and maybe giving a year or two to be peaceful so that something can get worked out, they want to blow up buses with kids on them.

It is hard to work out problems when one or both parties are still taking sucker punches.

I'm not an expert on the Palestinian peace process, but I've been to the middle east, and the level of ignorance over there is amazing. Many of them seem to hate the U.S. just because they are told too, while at the same time trying to emulate us in a variety of ways.

Honestly KSM, from my experience with Islam (I mean experience here, not what I read about in Newsweek), your religion teaches intolerance of all other religions. I can understand not believing what another religion or denomination practices, but when the Jehova's Witnesses show up at my door, I don't blast them off the porch with a shotgun.
