No urban camels, and I saw no one riding camels also. Between my wife and I, we have nearly 2 years in Saudi and Bahrain and while both of us have seen lots of camels, neither of us has seen one being ridden. In short, they seem to treat camels like we treat cattle. Herd animals, not for riding.
