i believe so..at least to the limit of my knowledge..

ok

thats an assumption that could have a big chunk of right to it..

i don't do that...if something IS shitty about Egypt or the islamic world i'd say it is..however..i always go back to saying that the way it should be in islam is good and right..
we're just not exactly doing it the islamic way..
the thing about islam is...it's not just a religion that was sent for people to worship God...islam devised a whole system for life and society..i mean..ask me about anything in life..you'd find that islam has dealt with it..either in Qur'an or through Mohammed...thats why islam is a full religion...if you'd care to ask about ANYTHING really go ahead...

>2-A) Visions of the Iraqi minister of information come

that guys fucked up and everyone knows it..

well...i'd be lying to you if i say that the Midlle East is a great place and so...but the things you gus seem to get are wayyyy off sometimes..(actually most of the time)..
so i have to put things in prespectiove for you..
we are not that great...Islam IS however...if we'd stick to it..we'd have been the finest nation on earth...and i mean economically, socially and whateverly..

Saudi Arabia does have that system don't get me wrong...they have whats called "Motawea" guys who walk in busy markets and tell people to do the right things...if someone is doing anything thats wrong (ex beating someone, harrasing someone etc..)..their obligation is to ask them to correct that..they did at one time walk with policemen and arrest some people...but that was in extreme cases and is pretty much gone now..i however don't think that system is right and i think it's pretty extremist ofcourse..

>Is this web site a
>source with an extremist slant on issues?

i wouldn't know..if it's Saudi it might be..

>You are a
>Muslim and promote what appears to be a
>conservative-religious value system, but you also
>respect differing beliefs and cultures
>(non-extremist). This runs counter to the story I
>linked to. Is this a news outlet of an extreme
>nature? Are you what could be considered a "liberal"
>Muslim? How does this all reflect upon the Middle
>East, Islam, and the "Western" world that wishes to
>peacefully coexist and go forward in a more equitable
>economic relationship that hopefully has a bit more
>respect for everyone involved?

i wouldn't call myself Liberal...i just am a moderate Muslim....(thats the majority of Muslim Egyptian (probably because we live amongst christians and have learned to be thier brothers and sisters..other countries such as Saudi Arabia don't)..also..the values of Islam strictly imply tolerance to all other religions and races...i said this to Tone back on Ro...if you wish to examine the history of Islam
you'd be amazed at how they dealt with the countries they would conquer..they would offer them Islam...by showing them how Muslim's behave and treat their enemies...if you do not agree to become a muslim...you are free to practice your religion and that made them REAL liberators instead of conquerors (the refrence to the U.S. is intended)...you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar, right?
that was their philosophy..
also back to the economical part...Islam also deals with that on several occasions..so if you were a little more specific i'd answer you..

>*This is a serious query meant to give everyone
>involved a say on issues that are of great importance
>to the world today. The "full of shit" reference
>wasn't intended as disrespect for the parties
>involved, rather it is a convention of this particualr
>environment*

no disrespect taken...and i seriously believe you are one of the most mature and rational people i've met on the AOF or TO
it's been really a plaesure talking to you..
