That was the suicide board (I don't think you saw it?). That place got under my skin. I really had to watch myself over there because I didn't want to be responsible for someone offing themself. Yet there was a forum of young people rife with potential intent on ending it all because of nothing more than teen angst. There were some disturbed people over there (serious depression), but even those folks were gleefully embracing the idea of romanticized suicide (the grand tragic death, the teach everyone a lesson about how their suffering was for real, etc.). That place changed me. I was discussing the place with a lady I know locally who is working on her doctorate in mental health social work and she was questioning me about my motivations there. She wondered how much good I did. My reply to her was that if one of my kids where in a place like that I'd want someone to oppose the notion and at least make the effort of reaching out to them. They were all talk anyway so I doubt the place led to anything ever happening? The thing is though with people like that all that loose talk sometimes leads to them taking action. Especially if no one takes them seriously.

As to your "appearance" I was responding to your question about "view". It never bodes well for a joke if one has to explain it.
