anyway, was it war or a totalitarian regime that cleaned up that mess?
if the former, I'm sure it helped in just the same ways wwII helped us --- which is an exception.

and I don't live in any of these rat infested sinkholes -- "Germany now - or Japan, Italy, S. Korea,"
if war helped them by bombing their fucked up countries to rubble, leeching off a successful countries tit, and rebuilding w/o the very economic drain of the military that's mentioned in the article, then that's great for them, but I'd rather not go THAT particular road.
