I fought him w/2 different parties, and it probably went down differently the second time.

I remember spreading out as far as possible and surrounding him --- this was probably the second party.
the fighters close on him from different directions w/fire res.
I think my main fighter has a short sword that casts mirror image.
the casters stay far back and strip his defenses.
if he uses stoneskin(?), use breach right away (that's the one for stoneskin, right?)
asap --- hit him w/a few lower res spells, I think 3 should do it.
now that he's got no magic res., I'd just bring the pain after a malison and a couple dooms.
summoned creatures are always good, too.

the first party probably took casualties, and maybe a reload, but I think I beat him down pretty good the second time around --- once I was hip to his mo.
