Staged by the Fraternal Order of the Elks in downtown Milwaukee (basically on what is now the campus of Marquette University) on August 11, 1927...the winner, which current Miss Wisconsin people ignore in Forever Miss Wisconsin honors, was Miss Fort Atkinson 1927, Virginia June Hillyer.
