Subject: Miss Oshkosh 2022 -- Kianna Fiedler, OT 2022 -- Evelyn Green

Miss Oshkosh 1st runner-up -- Ashlyn Berndt
Miss Oshkosh 2nd runner-up -- Baylee Cottrell
Miss Oshkosh 3rd runner-up -- Emma Shodis

OT 1st runner-up --Sydney Nikodem

Spirit of Miss America Award -- Miss candidate Cora Pizon
Ticket Sales Award -- Baylee Cottrell

These were the only awards announced on stage.

Was a great competition. Fielder gave a very moving rendition of "O Mio Babbino Caro". Overall, she came across very mature and poised. Berndt had personality plus and performed a near-perfect baton routine to "Holding Out for a Hero." I thought it was between these two.

Green was no surprise as the teen winner -- was the complete package -- very polished.

Oshkosh did everything right -- had an opening and closing number, highlighted the reigning titleholders through the competition, had their candidates walk the runway, and if you can imagine this, the winners actually got flowers!

The only thing that I still don't understand is why they give such a measly scholarship to their teen winner. They have more than enough money in their coffers where they could easily give the winner a $500.00 scholarship. It hardly pays for the teens to enter this for a $150.00 scholarship.
