On this day in Wisconsin pageant history, the following women were selected as Miss Wisconsin on Saturday, June 27:


*1998---Miss Western Wisconsin, Jill Marie Patzner of Arcadia was named Miss Wisconsin 1998

*1992---Miss Wisconsin Central, Stephanie Ann Klett of Beloit was named Miss Wisconsin 1992

*1987---Miss Madison, Maria Kim of Shorewood was named Miss Wisconsin 1987

*1981---Miss Milwaukee, Keungsuk Kim of Shorewood was named Miss Wisconsin 1981.

*1970---Miss Madison, Linda Jane Johnson of Milwaukee was named Miss Wisconsin 1970 (Happy 50th anniversary!!)


It was an interesting that the first two Miss Madison titleholders to be selected as Miss Wisconsin (1970 and 1987) were both crowed on June 27. Additionally, an interesting coincidence that the two classical pianist Kim sisters, the only siblings to have been chosen as Miss Wisconsin, were both crowned in Oshkosh on June 27 in 1981 and in 1987. Where are they now, some might wonder?? Any answers?
