Fact Check Time

1) 6 of them have held a local title
2) 5 of the delegates are returning for at least their 2nd year. Have you have thought maybe the incentive of doing the program is for the scholarships? La Crosse gave out over $20,000 last year in scholarships between in-kind and “cash” scholarships.
3) a “decent show and full house” out of curiosity how many local pageants are selling out at almost 400 tickets with $30 and $75 tickets? These guys are working their tails off and produce a state level show. It isn’t just a “little show.” I’m curious if you have even attended. As a mom of a former contestant I have been going for years and have not seen this kind of turnout in years.
4) as far as recruitment. I recently met with the guys running it. At one point they had over 22 ladies inquire. Met with 18. And 10 committed. They already have young women wanting to reaching out about next year who moved to town to late.

I really think you should do better research Jeff! Or Dan! Whichever it is of you who is always bashing these guys.

Well it was not Jeff, as a reliable source told me that he is in hospice care battling -- pancreatic cancer. He is in his 50s, sort of young for this., 15:24:03 08/24/25 Sun

        One that was more bizarre is when former co-director of Miss Oshkosh, Gert Schultz died on -- March 12, 2016--very day of the 2016 Miss Oshkosh pageant, 11:39:41 10/30/25 Thu
        Click-in for the obituary for Gert Raube Schultz where it says that she and John went to AC prior -- to his death, opposed to when he was dead? Dumb writing., 11:49:58 10/30/25 Thu
