Subject: The 2019 Alice in Dairyland finalists

Well, many here may not know even what is the Alice in Dairyland program much less know that the 2019 winner will be chosen in May. However, it was just announced this past week by the Wisconsin Dept. of Agriculture the names of the five finalists who will compete for the coveted Alice in Dairyland 2019 title.

*Sarah Jane Achenbach of Eastman (Crawford County)
*Cassandra Nicole Krull of Lake Mills (Jefferson County)
*Abigail Martin of Milton (Rock County)
*Mariah Kay Martin of Brooklyn (Dane County)
*Tess E. Zettle of Juda (Green County)

Monroe, Wisconsin will host the three-day Alice in Dairyland finals, with the coronation banquet event held on Saturday, May 11, 2019. It will be the third time Green County has had the hosting honors since the Alice in Dairyland program began in 1948.

Good luck to all of the finalists and congratulations to outgoing Alice in Dairyland 2018, Kaitlyn Ann Riley of Gays Mills for an excellent year representing Wisconsin and all of the state's agricultural and tourism interests this past year.
