ABOUT "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star"
Back in the `70s, little Dickie Roberts could do no wrong. The beloved child star of the hugely popular TV sitcom "The Glimmer Gang" was adored by millions of viewers who were captivated by his quirky charm . . . and then he turned six. Suddenly the ratings slipped, his show was cancelled and the Dickie Roberts phenomenon ended for everyone -- except for Dickie Roberts. Desperate to rise from the obscurity he plunged into after puberty, Dickie (David Spade), now a 35-year-old parking valet, is willing to do anything -- from celebrity boxing matches to cosmetic surgery -- in order to get his career back on track.
Convinced his star will rise again if only he can ace an audition for director Rob Reiner (portraying himself), Dickie is stunned when Reiner explains to him that because of his former life in the spotlight, he missed out on his childhood, and now isn't "normal" enough for the part. Can someone who has missed out on a normal upbringing simply "reboot" himself like a human computer? Dickie Roberts is about to find out, once he puts his plan -- "operation redo childhood" -- into full swing.

Hello! Please be careful. There are some new viruses out now. I am only discussing 2. Please try to safeguard yourself & others immediately. Please always make sure your antivirus program is up-to-date(hopefully you have antivirus protection).
(1) Go to MICROSOFT WINDOWS UPDATE on your computer. Run the scan & your computer will check for critical updates that you need. There is a segment at Microsoft Windows Update discussing what Window versions need protected from the BLASTER WORM. Check back at Microsoft Windows Update frequently for updates.
(2) The virus, W32/Sobig, is a HIGH RISK WORM for home users. The virus is sent through emails. Once you get the virus, the virus will automatically email virused emails out to any email addresses that you have saved in your email address book. Please delete all addresses in your address book(make sure you have a list of your email addresses before deletion). If you get an email,then please use commonsense determining if you should open it. REMEMBER, the email can either be from a stranger or even from someone you know.

finialy has its offical stuff up re what the films about and the offical trailor too plus what looks like there is going to be a web site for the film ,with the confirmed release date of sept 5th on it too.

I will always hold a special place in my heart for F8 and I would like to thank them for the wild ride, it was fun while it lasted.
The memories I have will live on in my heart my soul and my dreams FOREVER, But like Leif said it is time to move on, And I say it is time to sit back relax and get ready for the next ride.
Buckle up kiddies Im sure it will be a AMAZING adventure.

Dear friends, fans and everyone who supported F8,
Well, it was an interesting trip to say the least. Never have I been
involved in something that had so much love, hate, passion, jealousy,
comradeship, fun and work rolled into one. On one hand I'm glad it's
over and on the other I truly believe F8 could have gone on to bigger
and better things if it wasn't for all the crap. What makes it worse is
most of it came from within the band.
But it's all in the past now, time to move forward. The last thing I
have to say about the matter is inlight of recent findings of which I
was previously unaware and had absolutely nothing to do with. I
apologize for any gross indiscretion or lewd behavior presented to you.
I am appalled. But again time to move forward. See you next time
around.

It is truly sad to see the official end to F8. I dearly wish the
best for all involved. I hope quarrels and/or difficulties will be
resolved and all friendships can remain and/or be restored. I know
the road was often difficult, but I want all of you to know that I
appreciate the time you gave me and truly loved the
music/performances. You have all brought such memorable memories to
my heart. I wish it were feasible to go backwards to when you were
all content. You are right though...it is time to move onwards to
new experiences. I hope each of you find your rainbow. I will
always care, support, and love you. Best wishes, and I hope to see

As some of you know I was in a really bad car wreck on Nov. 24 2001 I broke my wrist in 2 places and had to have metal rods put in my arm anyways after 5 surgerys metal plates 6 screws and donor bone put in my arm, not to meantion no use of my right arm at all for 1 year 7 months, I went to the doctors today and I am now better well not all the way but my body is not rejecting the donor Bone it made a union and I can now start doing the little things like wash,drive,dishes,cut the grass but the best is now I can wash my hair really good and shave my legs right.....Im so happy
you have no ideal what it is like to have the use of one arm...

Hello! Awhile ago, I posted over at the leifgarrettfans.com board and requested help in purchasing the CD over at javamusic.com, as when they were transferring over to noisyturtle.com, it was a mess and I couldn't make a purchase. The webmaster tried to help, but it wouldn't work. I asked Bonnie at leifgarrettfans if she could buy it for me and I pay her back via Paypal, she said she's not interested in helping at her expense. I contacted F8 Official Site and heard nothing back. The javamusic webmaster doesn't take PayPal, even while their secure server/Verisign weren't clickable, so I let it go and figured maybe I could ask another source who's willing to help, such as this board. So much for browser issues, I guess. Javamusic now ran out of the original CD, but it wouldn't matter anyway as you know. (I am aware of others who've had similar situations and wonder whether they'd been helped somewhere.) If you here are willing to help out, please let me know. I also would like to purchase the F8 Demo CD together from one source. Thanks!

- Try emailing F8cds@aol.com for the F8 Demos cds. They take money orders or cashiers checks...no credit cards! I remember you were afraid to pay javamusic by credit card. - Hello to you too! I remember some people did have difficulty trying to purchase the CD at one time. I will say that we all do our best at trying to help out others but that not all people have Paypal. By the way, do you understnd the new Paypal rules? Why did you request using Paypal? Do you live outside of the USA? I do know that F8cds@aol.com accepts money orders and cashier checks. Money orders are sold at many stores, gas stations, post offices, and banks. Cashier checks can be found at the bank. Please explain your circumstances further if you cannot pay using a money order or cashier's check. I will be waiting to hear from you. I got my F8 Demos CD today from F8cds@aol.com! I LOVE IT!!!!!!! The seller sent me a $2.00 refund check. The CD is only $10.00 for USA buyers. I have been listening to the CD since it arrived!!! I'm in heaven!
