Age had been claiming her body inch by inch and she was so weak she could not fight off the phantom slowly clasping her soul. With one glance at her daughter.. her strong, enduring, warrior daughter, she had the strength to cast away that phantom forever. Nothing could hurt her now. Nothing could hurt Liliha now. They'd saved each other.

Once long ago when Sage had taken a starving, dying filly under her wing for reasons she had yet to understand herself was when Sage had saved Liliha. Through doing so, Liliha had brought an unknown light into Sage's cold heart. That light had grown into something... no words from any language could describe it. That light had made Sage continue throughout this venture, this life without love. However, Sage was never without love. She had Liliha. She had Sniper. She had Desert Princess.

Most of all, right now she had Liliha, the original source of that light. Even as it dimmed during her slow coming death, it had never fully disappeared and in a single glance at her beloved daughter, the light had regrown to it's former glory and from there surpassed it's previous brightness. This was how Liliha had saved Sage.

Now, greetings had been made and a different matter had to be addressed. Liliha was starving, dehydrated and sleep deprived. Sage was only dehydrated. Liliha should eat and sleep then, once refreshed in both ways, head down to the water source to deal with the final problem. Nutrients from the grass surrounding them would be enough to hold the two over until they both had the energy to walk.

As well, Sage sent a glance to General, giving the young stallion a task. This task was to retrieve their protector and love, Sniper and inform him of this situation. Sage's heart had been renewed and partially filled, however there were still two parts missing. One belonged to Sniper. The other was... well... that would have to be dealt with later as well. Liliha needed care and healing now.
