Thank you Sam. As a Captain Bill Carpenter was awarded the Brithish Cross. For action on September 19, 1944 Holland. I have a photo of "Monty Pinned it on himself" during the ceremony. Do not know the publication. Is it possible for me to get "Ready" to do searches?
