I realize your post is 10 yrs old, but I just found out my Dad was in Wobbelin. He was PFC Tech 5 William (Bill) Shattuck, HQ CO 3rd Bn 505. I went this past summer to Normandy for the 70th, and was honored to meet 11 WWII vets, including Les Cruise among them. I hope you get this message. Feel free to email me @ terif01@yahoo.com.
