Sounds like you have a plan. Good for you!
But according to my map, Rockford is as far from Western Washington as you can get and still be in the state. It's right on the Idaho border. For that reason, you're not going to be getting very many people on the other side of the state (which is a crying shame, as most of us on the West side of the state are dying to have something like you're describing close by). There is a strong base of good folks in Idaho, however, and that is probably where you're focus should be. Keep in mind that machine guns were outlawed in Washington, so no full-auto guns can come into the state ever. Some of the Idaho guys do read this board, so hopefully some will contact you on this.

I hope you can get this off the ground and build a precedence for events in this state, as most re-enactors (as opposed to living history people) avoid Washington like the plague, and I've never known why for certain. They all go to Oregon for some reason...
