Hi Tom;

Glad to be of help.

The resource in question is "Search for Members of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment Combat Team During World War II" which was compiled by Bob Gillette who was with Regimental S-2 (intelligence) during the war and who is a member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association.

I am in the process of cross indexing the list of members of the 505th PCT during the war by organization. right now i am up to names beginning with G for company H.

This list is by no means complete and the information as compiled by Bob Gillette of S-2 is not up to date. I am always looking fo more information to update the database with.

Some of the pages on the website have links to "Veteran Profiles and Research Tips" which will take you to a page stating that it is under construction. This is a situation that We are in the process of fixing. We need photographs, biographical information, etc. for the profiles part of this. The research tips section will include a short "how to" with respect to getting started and will also include links to government agencies etc.

If you have any information, photographs, newspaper articles, photgraphs of memorabilia belonging to Chaplic, and would like to have a profile put together for publicaiton on our website let me know. We would be very happy to oblige and would be willing to work with you on this.

Let me know!

Sam Kimpton
