The best repro syrettes I have seen were the ones offered by John Scott in the early 1990's. He was taking syrettes of another kind out of chemical warfare kits. emptying them, refilling them with an inert substance and then re labeling the tubes.

The best current repro's such as those offered by Garcia Aviation and Stan Wolcott do not have threaded "necks" on the tube as do the originals.



The above image is of an original 1 1/4 gr syrette in someone elses collection. Note the threaded "neck".

Somewhere I have images of original GI syrettes of the type used in the parachutists first aid kit and also issued individually by some units for given operations. When I find them I will post them here.
