Subject: Roy Stout

I have some sad news today regarding an airborne veteran of service in the Pacific Theatre during WWII.

Colonel Roy Stout Divisional G-2 with the 11th Airborne Division passed away recently.

Col. Stout was instrumental in the planning for the 511th PIR's drop at Los Banos prison camp which resulted in the liberation of all civilian internees being kept there by the Japenese.

He is pictured below in a photo taken on memorial day 1944 in the Philipenes during the war and is second from the left.
