Subject: soldier passing

My step-father 1st.sgt.Wally Enger a member of the 505 died of a heart attack June 29, 2002. He was a jump sgt. at Ft. Bragg until D-Day. He used to say " I bet I kicked 2000 guys out the door of a DC-3 at Ft. Bragg and they all came and thanked me for it. He was quite a character and a hell of a man to grow up around. He lived well and loved to fish. Anyone who knew or fought with him please contact me at my e-mail address. He mentioned a lot of good men.
