Subject: WPG switchblades

I just got my box from Jerry Lee at What Price Glory, and his new repro Airborne Switchblades are pretty damned good!
There is a spring in them, pushes the blade out about 1/4 inch, then you pull it the rest of the way out. Looks pretty good! The grips are plastic, don't have that "sheen" the originals have, but I doubt you could repro that look cheaply anyway. You can tell it is Pakistani manufacturing, but overall I'm very happy with it!
On the downside, I also ordered one of his repro morphine syrettes. I was NOT impressed with it. Shoddy, light paper for the box, the label is a poorly-repro'ed paper wrapper not even glued to the base. I'm not returning it, though. I think I can mkae it worth my while...
