He tilts his head watching her stride and her poise a few seconds, contemplating. he was terrible at this sort of thing. what to say, he oculdn't even read her facial set. He was so out of tune with emotions other than those he considered necessary; his pride, confidence, stubbornness, passion. that pretty much summed it up. so as he gauged the feeling in her half hearted ignorance of his actions he ehsitated a question, unsure if he was on the right track or hitting empty space.

he'd caughthimself making up a nickname from her initials and stopped himself, pride would not let him sink so low, that he bothered at all with her felings was bad enuogh.
