Embarassment flickered over the arrogant feature for a split second, quickly swept away under the corners of his mind. still though he looked around for something to stare intently at, and finding nothing of interest he took immediate interest in a spindly evergreen tree. his auds flattened aainst his skull in agitation, and he placed each foot with extreme care, divulgin himself in everything else about the situation. the walls went back up. pedestal reinstated.

Nothing.

he responded, almost sullenley to her question, and he dropped completely the other line of conversation, for a) she'd said she was well and b) he was too conceited to care anyways, wasn't he?
