In reply to: Euripedes and Perseus 's message, "*A short, aged, buckskin stallion walks into the territory with purpose in his step. He is followed by a taller, muscular, more youthful black stallion." on 12:43:46 01/01/03 Wed

Frozen Dreams, languidly detaches his authoritative gaze from the pair of strangers, their presence had begun to pique his distaste. he could smell even fear on one of them. horrible as he was with emotion fear was one of the few exceptions. he alighted his gaze on the king, gauging the tone of his voice, but after a small struggle he gave up, once again acknowledging to himself that he really needs to work on this disadvantage.
auds swivell and remain fixed on the strangers through the time his acculi are otherwise engaged.
as the king approached the prideful stallion had changed his dominant poise to one of somewhat lesser authority. he recognized Malussinn as his king. out of the corner of one eye he watched the mare, her antics were to him only an idle amusement. the bronc was the epitome of conceit. he reeked of his pride and though his eyes gleemed with an icy impassivity it was obvious that fire burned not far beneath. he did, however, remain silent. awaiting the response of the other.

Your Highness, my name is Euripedes and this is my apprentice Perseus. I come from lands far from here, originally on a quest, but our plans are different now and we need a place to stay. I am the Great Wizard of my lands and I come to offer my services and the services of my apprentice. There is little magic I have not mastered. I am at the highest level of wizardry and there is much we can do for you. All I ask for in return is a place to stay, and perhaps a place to work with my apprentice on his skills. Anything you ask of me I will give. It may not seem like much of an offer, but pardon my tone, I am not trying to boast, I can make anything happen you need. *He annunciates the word anything, for he is a great wizard and it is true that there is next to nothing he cannot do. He eyes show his arrogance and confidence, but his face and voice is masked in respect.*

*The black stallion behind him listens to the conversation, never once raising his eyes to view the King, for he knew if he did, there would be consequences to pay. But he could feel all eyes on him, smelling his fear. He knows that he is not a weak stallion, he is the strongest and bravest in his lands, but others can obviously see there is something in the great wizard that keeps the black stallion down. He could easily overtake the elder, due to his age and small size, but if what the wizard says is true, Euripedes will always have the advantage.*
