His expression?- 'twas A lazy-eyed one; lids falling half-closed over gleaming balls, the sharply shining plume swirling and curling around relaxed hocks with the same deadly attention, and seeming disinterest, as a venomous snake. And although his threaded tones held the same lazy - and yet alert - pose as his frame, it rippled with other emotions expressed and suppressed specifically by the embers embedded delicately in the dish-plated visage of the King.

"Of course, Euripedes. You and your apprentice are welcome. Please... make yourselves at home." Sparing naught a glance for the apprentice, for whom he felt a trace of pity, the steed but turned around upon blunted scythes, and left the two to their own... limited... devices.
