"Dare Devil!" he shouts again, exuberant. "Is it really you?" Of course he knows it is, so it's a stupid question, but one that had to be asked. He gallops up to his oldest, best friend and slows to a prancing trot, dancing all around him and dealing the Friesian a profusion of friendly nudges and shoves, knowing that the small Arabian stallion will have little effect on the black's powerful bulk. "Welcome back, you silly sod." His deep, dark eyes are alight with bemused delight. "Where have you been?"
Kamani himself has changed some. A few deep, not very old scars decorate his chest and neck, and his hide and mane are dull and somewhat matted from lack of attention. He's been alone, without a home and without friends. But now life is starting to look good again. A soft but slightly sad smile touches his eyes as he thinks of another, moving on from his self-oriented contemplations. "Sunny misses you, I think. She went back to PI when there was that rockfall." His expression sours slightly as he describes it. "There was... I guess it must have been a little earthquake, and it loosened some of Rocky Ridge's boulders, which fell and blocked off the Ridge and the Pass. We got out in time, but the rocks kept falling... and unless we find another route, the Pass is impassable."
[OOC: That's what happened IC. OOC, Ziraga decided Rocky Ridge and Onyx Pass were too inactive and took them down. Oh yeah... he was King for a few months, long story. That caused some considerable uproar, but now things are pretty much back to normal.]
