She notices Frozen Dream's jeering smile with a scowl, she was hardly in the mood to deal with pompous stallions. Had she hands she would wipe that silly grin off his face in a second. But besides being irritated, she was lazy. She barely bothered herself with grazing, let alone clobbering someone. She contents herself with a quite obvious yawn at Frozen Dreams, and a brief nod to the coal stallion-king.

Frozen Dreams

with an obvious lack of patience the dusty brute shifts his weight and passes a sigh from languid labrums. with barely a shred of sincerity he dips his mug toward the frozen turf of the terra in greeting to the mythical Queen. if he remembered correctly such was his first audience with the noble mare. his gaze flicked pointedly toward her horn, that which seperated her from him, and the rest. idly he scanned the regal pair. a coal-hued stallion and the ivory cream of cirrus' coat. so opposite. so many contradictions.
ebony shaded occulli land their retreat on the warily distant form of oblivious. it appeared his knitted speech would have to wait. what with the appearance of such noble conversationalists. the nigrescent cloak of his mane shuddered with the wind.
the abrasive stallion had an impressive lack of courtesy for one who so normally revelled in formalities.

suddenly.. he was overcome by an insatiable itch. with the absence of suitably placed trees he was reduced to snapping intently at his beige hide to quell the feeling. it took several moments, and an illplaced bite before he realised the demeaning aspect of what he had been forced to. he froze, as if he had just committed some atrocious sin and all eyes were on him. without twitching his gaze or cocking an ear he gently lowered his crania from plagued whithers and slowly returned it to it's original haughty height and placement. his attitude was ever more strained and the inertia dropped from his manner. in his attempt to return to his previous state he dug himself further into the hole he sought to avoid. mocking himself mentally his pallet cleared of the compiled emotion and returned itself to cool impassivity. the corner of his stygian pool was leant to the regal couple while the remainder of his gaze was dispelled between Lavaterra and Oblivious.
arrogance flooded his being and despite his efforts discomfort rampantly extorted his entirety. it was quickly doused with a wave of despondent disdain, with the hint of a sneer creating the expectant lapse that the matching expression should have appeared upon his conceited facade.

angered by his lack of control over emotion at the moment that factor played into his aura as well. causing a frightfully confusing array of thughts. barely, although tenaciously, he held himself still, stamping out the urge to turn and flee quietly with his cloud of perplexion.

Dreams never fade, but evolve in the frigidity of solitude.
