He had hoped she would be alone, so he could talk to her. No such luck. His mother was almost always hiding in seclusion, just when he wishes to speak with her she can't fly solo. He gulps his concern at how she would act, seeing she looked a bit lethargic. He approaches, nodding briefly to the others present. "Mom? Can I talk to you?"

Her piercing dark eyes miss Frozen Dream's little fiasco. Her nostrils flatten and her ears sweep back as her son plays into view. She had no desire to speak to him. "No, you may not," She says flatly.

"Mom, just let me explain I..."

"I don't need you to explain. I'm not blind. I saw.. them. Don't talk to me," She cut him off. Turning away from him, she focused herself on the others there. Maybe if she just ignored him, he would go home.
