"Calm yourself, Cirrus." A soothing nudge was given as he watched the b.b. intently. There's no reason to be so upset... a mental sigh echoed in his mind; Cirrus was probably more evil than he... what a pitiful pain. "...Maleah?" Blinking rapidly and incredulously, he turned to step around his young daughter in a circling study. "Where have you been?" Something was different... the naive father just couldn't figure out what.

[One okay post and inspiration drops. I love Mal, but he's a pain to write.]
