Turning his head at the sound of another voice the rest of his body followed slowly, for to rush such an act would have been a foolish waste of energy. taking in the mare's broken looking stare toward the ground and the other's cool introduction he tossed his vain smile on Arathorn, dragging his eyes from the gleaming white form behind him. while he didn't quite feel sorry for her there was a pity in the back of his mind. however he could never allow such an wmotion to surface... but hadn't that been why he brought her here in the first place? his pity? silencing the annoying ring of truth the voice of his head held he redoubled his mental note to shut it off. looking once again from the one of the two creatures to the other he in so made the excuse for his lack of verbal reply until now

he stopped talking, realizing he was trailing in a direction he didn't understand. the flippant stallion shifted his weight around, once again casting his eyes unto the pale, waif-like form of the slave-mare.
