The rough grating of hooffalls on valley rock is audible as the fiery red stallion races forth. His deep chest heaves as flame-washed hindquarters churn madly, propelling himself faster, faster. Black hooves strike the ground evenly. Reckless gallop then ceases; the male pulls himself to a halt. The red is still quite young, barely three, yet very much a stallion. He sports many traits of a typical Arabian: long slender legs, arched neck, flowing mane and tail, dished head, mobile nostrils. All emotions are hidden, kept from showing themselves from his eyes of the darkest black. The red now speaks. Carinosa?.. He keeps a steady look out for the one he seeks: his adoptive mother. He has come back home, yet it has been long. The land is familiar, but most of the inhabitants are not. Not like it mattered to this stallion on the edge consuming arrogance. Still, he wished once again to become a part of this ever-changing valley.

Shock strikes the desert-bred for the umpeenth time in several days. Though weary from all the events happening left and right, adrenaline rushes through her as she sees the colt. She picks up a ground-churning gallop and dashes over to him, long tail flagged as usual. "It- it's you!" She bites her lower lip, "Oh, oh Dante...I'm so sorry...I never was much of a mother, oh..." Her eyes plead, "I know you can probably never forgive me - and I don't deserve it - but oh Dante, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."
