ah, the many joys of mutual hatred. her gaze locked with his in open defiance, but a smile twitched at the corner of her lips. wait, was that a smile, or a smug smirk? who can tell. a look of sheer mockery danced flippantly within her twin oracles, and once more her silver slashed aigrette was allowed to sway in its pendulum like way, with a mixture of irritation and amusement in the motion. he's awfully confident for someone so easily bested in battle. the thought calmed her flaring temper, dousing it like pouring water on flames. no matter what he said, they'd both always know she was stronger, more agile, smarter then he was. verbally he would deny it, but the daunting knowledge would dance in the background of their conversation, jesting and leering. for a while nothing was said, but when at last she spoke the sarcasm dripped heavily from her voice, and she finished off her short speech with a hollo laugh.

oh yes frozen dreams. i want you so bad, can't you tell?
