Called from his forever wanderings by the familiar tingling of the goings of the supernatural, the blood bay picked up a gallop miles away from the actual border of Evil Valley. Pain, as if carried by the wind, floated to his strained senses, and he found the strength to race through the barren plains as if with wings. Lightning flickered in his golden gaze, the brute's nares wide as they engulfed the air that passed so quickly....

Insisors grabbed at the filly, dragging her from the water as the legs strained from the bank, taking on her weight gladly in the effort to take her from harm. He noticed the wounds of her fall, but put that aside as he concentrated on dragging her to ground.

So much for preset subject lines. Nia's mind crashed and burned like a wilted racecar.

Her eyes weren't wide enough. Could they get any wider? Could anything be any bigger? More surreal? Were those fish in the sky, or clouds? What was happening?

Weird. Very werid. Too weird to be normal-weird. Huh?
