Coldly his gaze swept the terrain, though, lo and behold, he saw nought. Not that he had expected a thing, besides the two mares and filly at his side, to catch his sight...

"And brave are you to torture a child who can do nought to protect herself - would you be so bold if you had flesh and blood to risk?" His eyes, golden-brown, flickered eerily in the light shed upon the ground. Head shaking ever so slightly in a vague amusement spared for such ramblings the formless can make, he attempted to wrap his large body tighter around Wraith as he turned his muzzle to gently touch her.

"Are you all right?"
