Subject: My slightly non sensical theory on the disbalance (repost)

While Buffy was around, she had Angel, a souled Vampire with her...two main good guys fighting evil.

He went to hell and shortly after Faith came along, only, whilst Faith and Buffy were now the two good ones...Angel returned therefore making 3 good ones (Faith was still good at this point) so The First tried to make Angel kill himself (as he knew a Vampire with a soul could stop him, but his plan didn't work)

Now, the First is supposedly the evil inside everyone, which leads me to believe that he decided to wake the evil in Faith to recreate the balance.

Now 2001, there's Angel with a soul, Faith gone good again, Buffy dead, there's just the two good people again.

2002 Buffy returns, Faith is reformed so there's 3 good people, the scales are tipped.

The Evil inside Willow is awoken to try and balance things, but she's pulled back to the good side.

There's now 4 very powerful good guys, then Spike goes and gets a soul meaning theres now FIVE very powerful goodguys.
so he can now make his move as the balances can't be made.

All because "the slayer lives" Why? Willows major magic craving came from the huge spell in Bargaining to bring Buffy back...Tara was shot because of Warren who was after Buffy...Spike got a soul coz he loved Buffy...Faith went off the deep end through jealousy of Buffy, but came back to the right side thanks to Angel, who relates to her coz of Buffy.

Note from JslayerUK: Angel lost his soul around the same time The First went into backoff (Showtime) this year.
