Subject: Hello? Is anyone out there? Well if there is, my Chosen thoughts

Ok, so I was pretty unspoiled and held hope for surprises. Didn't get any, but what we did get was pretty friggin' awesome.

The potentials were actually pretty cool. Vi was great and even Kennedy was cool. Amanda dying was really kinda sad, but definately not as sad as Anya dying.

I had held out hope for surprises for some time and was kinda disappointed that what we were spoiled is exactly what we got.

I think tomorrow we're gonna see a lot of disappointed people and a lot of sad people. Disappointed in the finale or just sad it's over. Personally I loved the finale and yet isn't sad the show's gone. It had a good run, and I loved every moment of that run.

"I wanna see how it ends."

"The world is definately doomed."

I've always been very polly about the show. I was always more or less convinced that at the last moment, all dangling storylines would be explained (time wonkiness? Dawn? was the FE defeated or did they just end up blowing up Sunnydale?) and my poor baby Spike would...sob...sob...choke...but instead I get "Oh Anya's dead? Well that's okay then."

I feel cheated. Was anything resolved here? Anything? Anything at all?

Bah. Humbug. I didn't even have any chocolate to help me through it.

I could have enjoyed this as the next-to-last show, or the second-to-last show. But as the very last show, never to be another one again - it did not work for me. (This is my euphemism for "I thought it s**ked!" since I'm trying not to get deleted.)

First of all I thought I'd downloaded a file with no sound but then after abusing the place I got it I found I just had my volume muted..oops
Ok Angel stuff-Why is when I see them together I think it's still pretty cool. I couldn't understand how come they were all lovey dovey and then it hit me..It had to do with the missing time they had together. We didn't see what went on but obviously had alot to do with maybe one day..
Cringed with the cookie dough stuff but when you think about about it it made sense..She wants to find herself before she commits to another, and doesn't want to give only half herselff to another. Well she should've told herself that while she was cosy with Spike.
Laughed at the pic of Angel Spike was beating up.
Really really really liked the throw back to season 1 ending where the three walk off discussing things like shopping and Giles walks away saying the world is definately doomed. I even got Buffy saying The chosen stuff..well not really Buffy, The First.
I liked Buffy beating The First by believing in herself and how she got back up when she was down and flogged those noodles.
I cried when Willow went white.She finally beat her addiction and proved to herself what we already knew.Underneath she's not the evil willow but a true sweetie just like season 1.
Anya got ripped off and that annoyed me heaps. I thought her death would've affected me alot by in that drive-by stabbing who could tell!! But I did like how Andrew made her into a hero.
The saddest bit of all-Spike at the end. After everything he was a true champion and all the bad things he'd done paled considerably.We won't mention how much I cried at that but lets just say I can't do it justice on how well I thought that was written.Spike burning NOT a good thing to see.
After all is said and done Buffy's ultimate dream will come true, after realising a bit too late she really loved Spike, she can go on to be what she's wanted for seasons...to become a normal girl.
Joss may not've answered alot of dngling questions but he gave us one hell of an episode. Just a shame it's the final episode ever as I still want more. Oh well can't wait for ATS next season just to find out if after all the dust settled how Spike was reborn...or is he just there haunting Angel? I can see it now She loves me peaches..I am the cahmpion*singing*..Poor Angel :-)
